Wood of l’Ecanet

Meeting place for walkers, sportsmen and nature lovers, this is a park set up in the heart of a valley. It is crossed by l’Ecanet, a small stream with an oral route, and very popular with visitors and locals who take their health walk there, around 1 km 200 around a mirror of water.
Perhaps you will spot a faithful heron, or a green woodpecker at work, or a nestling of small rabbits. Whatever the season, this site will enchant you. On the last Saturday of June, the municipality with the help of a few associations organize « Villers en fête » on Place de Gaulle (music, games, catering) and to close the evening a fireworks display at the Bois de l’Ecanet.
