Nature and slow tourism in Pays de Vire!

Known for its hiking trails, Pays de Vire will amaze you with its diversity of landscapes.
Discover at your own pace bocage paths, forests, lakes, wild rivers, hills, mounts…
Among the 60 compliant signposted circuits, we have selected 23 of high quality which represent the best circuits in our territory.

Le Gast Lake

We recommend the 5.3 km circuit n ° 7 « Les roches Blanches » from St-Sever. It is an easy route, which takes 1h30. You will discover the ponds of the old castle, the Pré des miracles and an 11th century castle mound!

For the more experienced, we recommend the 14.2 km circuit n° 10 « La vallée de la Dathée » from Champ-du-Boult.
Are you more a mountain biker? Try the Severine curls!

Spend the night at the Lézière ecogite in Landelles and Coupigny.
Located in the heart of nature near the Gorges of the Vire and meeting touristic routes, this beautiful eco-lodge for up to 6 people offers you a lovely view of the countryside from its large wooden terrace facing south. The interior is bright and warm with its natural lime plaster and linen spangles, comfort and space guaranteed!
Games for children are available: swing, indoor games, billiards, and the cottage is accessible to disabled people (4 types of handicap).

Cow eating at « Naturellement Normande » Farm

And the little extra is that you can visit the owners’ “Naturellement Normande” farm, discover and taste their products, the transformation of organic milk into farmhouse Camembert, yogurt, or ice cream. They make an exceptional AOP appellation Organic Camembert. Janine and Denis Lelouvier will be happy to introduce you to their profession. The cows are 100% Norman breeds and 100% grass-fed!
