Loterot farm – The liquorist workshop

Liquorist? A curious profession that evokes vials and strange fragrances, here is a modern version at the Ferme du Loterot. As a family, they have imagined liqueurs based on the department’s emblematic alcohol, and created the « Viking » range. Calvados is mixed with cream, vanilla, lemon, orange or even aniseed… Their speciality: Crème de Calvados®.
During the visit, you will discover the history of the Loterot Farm, from agriculture to a tourist activity, then from the apple to the liqueur workshop.
In the cellar, go through the history of Normandy with 2 contemporary frescoes : The battle of Hastings and the Normandy version of Pre-Bocage.
And to finish off, a tasting session in the local produce shop.
