Charles Léandre Museum Space
The Charles Léandre Museum reveals the universe of the painter from Champsecret and the diversity of his talents through an original scenography and an interactive stroll. Other artists from Lower Normandy are honored: you will notably discover the works of the painter EDUARDO-LEON GARRIDO (1856-1949) and the JACK MUTEL collection (1935-2016). The local memory space highlights, through digital objects and archives, the rich industrial past of Condé sur Noireau as well as the characters who have marked its history such as the explorer Jules Dumont of Urville. The highlight of the visit, a 40m² model will transport you to the Condé before the bombings of June 6, 1944.
